The EM-NARI Government Affairs Committee supports our chapter mission by:
- Fostering awareness among our membership of current issues and requesting action from the membership when appropriate.
- Creating visibility for our chapter in the area of government affairs. Distributing important information via blog posts, e-blasts, social media, and committee reports at meetings.
- Advocating both locally and nationally for the interests of our chapter membership and the consumers that we serve.
- Supporting legislation promoting the remodeling industry on topics such as industry regulation, energy efficiency, and workforce development. Read more about NARI on the Hill here.
- Collaborating with other industry professionals on governmental affairs on behalf of our industry,
- Serving on local boards or committees governing or affecting the remodeling industry.
