Warm up your business when it's cold outside!

Winter Tips

Posted by on 2 February 2017 | 0 Comments

great ideasAs the weather gets bad and the pace of projects slows, remodelers look for ways to keep going during the cold winter months.  As professionals you know the advice – take interior jobs, expand your business to include services you don’t usually offer (i.e. plowing), reconnect with existing clients.  All are good tips, but there may be some other ways you can work now to get your business ready for 2017 using your NARI connections!

Evaluate How You Market Your Business

How do new clients find you? Word of mouth is great – and probably one of the most important marketing tools around, but once your happy client shares your information, will that prospect find you?  When they do, what will they see?  And, are they really a client you want? You may want to explore marketing strategy, branding, images, your website and SEO (search engine optimization), and your social media and electronic newsletter outreach.  Here are some chapter members that can help:

Consider Your Insurance Coverage

Now is a great time to review your policies to be sure you are adequately covered.  You may also be able to save quite a bit of money by comparison shopping.  If you aren’t already using a NARI member for your insurance, consider asking one of our members to give you a quote.

Are Your Contracts Up to Snuff?
